Data corrections take priority over everything else here. A message naming a value that is wrong is the most useful thing this site can receive.
If a value on a page is incorrect, please include three things:
Corrections carrying a traceable source are applied fastest, because they can be verified against the standard rather than taken on trust.
Suggestions for data tables, calculators or standards to add are welcome. The most useful requests name the specific data set and the standard it comes from — that makes it possible to check whether the data can be sourced openly before committing to build it.
Coverage grows in the order that demand justifies. A request that names a standard is much easier to act on than a general topic.
The dimensional, material and conversion data published here is factual reference data compiled from published standards. You are welcome to cite it — every page provides ready-to-copy citation formats in plain text, BibTeX and RIS.
If you reproduce a substantial table, a link back to the source page is appreciated but not required.
